Reasons to watch: SBS’s split-season drama The First Responders commences with its second part, taking over their ever-popular weekend slot. The first season was high-performing, so there’s no reason to expect Season 2 won’t do the same. The drama continues the story of hot-headed police officer Kim Rae-won, along with the other emergency responders he works with regularly, including EMT Gong Seung-yeon and fireman Sohn Ho-joon. The love triangle might have died in Season 1 (?), but I’m sure they’ll cook up enough criminal mayhem to fill 12 episodes.
TL;DR: Our trio of first responders is back for more
