X1’s debut song ‘FLASH’ re-enters Melon Top 100 Chart!

Would it be possible for a song to rank in music charts again months after its release, even more so from an already disbanded team?

Well, if X1 fans (called One It) say so, then it’s totally possible

X1 is a project boygroup formed through survival program, Produce X 101. Although successfully debuted in 2019, controversies surrounding the program led the group‘s disbandment earlier this year. To date, it has been 4 months when the disbandment news broke out and since then, it was never the same for X1’s fans.

There was no time to waste! X1 fans knew what they had to fight for and continuously made efforts to bring their boys back. Driven by their determination to prove what they are capable of, X1 fans organized a massive streaming project in South Korea’s no. 1 music portal, Melon, on April 8, 2020. The fandom’s goal was to bring the group’s debut song back in the Melon Charts. To achieve this feat, it requires tremendous effort from hundreds of fans as it has been more than 7 months when the song was first released. Most especially, it’s a song from an already disbanded team.

Nevertheless, powered by their combined efforts, X1 fans made the impossible possible and successfully placed X1’s FLASH at the 97th spot of Melon Top 100 Chart at 1:00 AM of April 9, 2020. It is beyond incredible and something to be proud of considering how difficult it was to rank in music charts.

Furthermore, X1 fans also planned for a hashtag event a day prior to the Melon Project to show their power as one. Through the collective efforts of fans around the world, they successfully reached more than 1 million tweets and placed 3rd at the Worldwide Trends in Twitter.

In fact, it was not the first time for the fandom to achieve this all but to do it once again after months of their extremely exhausting fight is something to be applauded for.

X1’s fandom breaks all boundaries and if this doesn’t prove how much they want their boys back, then we don’t know what it is.

Is there any fandom like this? If none, then don’t let go of it.
