BTS V and his good friend and fellow “Wooga” squad member Peakboy thrilled fans as they shared a new update!
BTS V has posted a new photo on BTS’s official Twitter account on July 10. It was a picture showing V and Peakboy working on a studio and it was shared with the caption, “okay, we’re getting’ started.” After the tweet was posted, ARMYs immediately reacted. Fans were quick to ask, “start what?”

Similarly, Peakboy also posted several photos of V and himself on Instagram with the caption “currently working.” When K-pop idols post captions with “working,” they usually mean they’re producing or writing songs. This news, together with V’s recent announcement last June 9, made fans eager about the BTS member’s upcoming projects.
On June 9, V had a live broadcast updating fans of his current status. “I’ve been busy writing songs lately. Usually, I spend all day thinking about what tow rite and really focus on it, and end my dau with a relaxing drink. Yes, that’s the kind of life I’m living,” the singer shared during his V Live show.

“As of the moment, there are still no concrete plans on who will be the next member to release a mixtape following Suga’s mixtape, but I’ll do my best to release one this year,” V added.
“I already wrote eight songs for the planned mixtape, if it will push through, but I’m still not sure if all of them would be included. I’m putting a lot of effort and thought on this mixtape right now since I don’t want to disappoint the ARMYs. I want to be able to give you great songs, so I’m always reminding myself of that while I work every day,” he continued.
“Each of us are actually like that, we don’t want to make bad songs for the ARMYs. The ARMYs are very special to us. I’ve also written a few songs for BTS, which I hope everyone will like,” he said hinting about the boy’s new album. “Don’t expect too much though, please. The track may be similar to ‘4 o’clock,’ a song we once released for BTS’s Festa 2017.”
If V’s mixtape will push through and get released by the end of this year, he will be the 1st member of the group’s vocal line to release an official mixtape. So far, BTS’s rappers Suga, RM, and J-hope had all released their mixtapes.
Meanwhile, V has also recently shared a snippet of a song he’s working on currently. He tweeted, “Today, I really really really miss the ARMYs. It’s not yet done, but please have a listen and wait patiently.”
