Drama viewership ratings for the week of May 30-Jun. 5, 2022
Advertisements Personally, I don’t find Our Blues dreary. It’s really well done and very Korean, I would say. There have been a few exceptions, such as Business Proposal and HomeCha, but overall, rom-coms haven’t done that well for quite some time. Koreans seem to be more into makjang, slice-of-life and thrillers/dramas dealing with corruption. Source

Advertisements News bites: May 28, 2022 by tccolb I’m loving the color palette of TV Chosun’s new poster for The Witch Is Alive, as well as Lee Yuri’s (Lies of Lies) wild look. The black comedy also stars Lee Min-young (Love ft. Marriage and Divorce 3), Yoon So-yi (Get Revenge), Jung Sang-hoon (Again My Life), […]

Advertisements So happy to see the rising numbers for My Liberation Notes. If there’s any drama in this list that deserves this, it’s this one. Bloody Heart is also gradually doing better. Advertisements I’m happy to see ratings for My Liberation Notes rising. It deserves every bit of the growing buzz. I’m disappointed that Bloody Heart isn’t doing very well. The show is beautifully crafted and masterfully acted. I wish more people were watching. I’m also sad about Love All Play. I knew from the get-go that […]

Advertisements 1. Part ONE??!? What the hell is this YA movie-era obsession with splitting perfectly contiguous stories into separate entities? I swear to god, Netflix deserves all that subscription loss. 2. I’m sorry but someone in the higher echelons of the entertainment industry must be very invested in Kim Ji-eun’s career because I cannot for […]
Drama viewership ratings for the week of May 2-8, 2022
Advertisements I’m happy Our Blues hit double digits. It’s Beautiful Now’s ratings are still on the low side for a weekender. It really hasn’t grabbed me, but I like that the main family is nice. It’s a nice break from the dysfunctional, loud families that made up the last couple weekenders. Koreans like makjang though. […]

Advertisements 1. Cute! I hope this turns out good because everything I heard so far just exudes this very wholesome vibe and I’m here for it. 2. Still confused why this out of all kdrama IPs is getting a prequel. Also this totally should’ve been the OG show because it sounds so much better. 3. […]
